adamberger won the contest

Show Altrec.com why you need a jacket by uploading the worst picture you can find of a jacket. So this can be your buddy's jacket with a "duct tape" patch job, that cardboard box that you found in the woods during that unexpected rain storm or why clothing and fire don't mix. The more creative the better. They're are no rules except PG13 or less! Upload as many pictures as you like. Just click "add reply" (top right) and upload an image.

Good luck! If you win you can choose between the:

Men's:

or the Women's:

So upload your picture and while your waiting to win (announced this Friday) make sure you check out Altrec's Preseason Snowsports Sale.

This is my borrowed pink one piece that I wore on my days off at Winter Park. It certainly didn't help me pick up the ladies, but I certainly got a few interesting looks. Help a guy out.

Don't forget the details - the sweet snap belt and the white ear muffs.

This is what happens when you tell your girlfriend to bring a softshell for the climb and she brings a windbreaker. Needless to say she was very comfortable wearing my jacket. However, I was not as comfortable in hers. I think she could use a softshell from Altrec -so i can wear MINE!

Haha ... wow, we've all been there but most of us didn't have to wear pink.

This is my wife when we were on top of Mt Whitney on August 4th. To our surprise it was FREEZING up there cause we got up there so early (6:30am). Didn't have a soft shell but my wife had our Jetboil and some coffee. We were crouched behind this rock to hide from the wind and were able to brew up some warm Java.

A softshell definitely would have worked better. ;)

Hmmm... Hiking in Costa Rica - should have remembered my soft shell. The flora was helpful, but the leaves are never big enough. I need full body coverage! A new soft shell would help.

That looks like a fun job actually. What is involved (mainly inspecting for damage etc. or is actual repair / maintenance done on a fixed line)?

All I know, that wet suit just wasn't cutting it. Wakeboarding through slush is very cold. If only I had something to keep me warm when I got out of the slushy coldness.

Yeah, so that's a hole in what was my nice ArcTeryx jacket. You may say so what, my jacket has a hole in it too. But its really how the hole got there that makes the story. My girlfriend's cat (yes cat, not her dog) opened my pack, then chewed a hole in my jacket. As an FYI, the cat is still alive and chewing holes in other things (underwear, shirts, blankets, etc).

I need it because jackets don't get growth spurts over the summer.
