Hi,
I have 2 pairs of these pedals on a road bike and mtb and both pairs have become just a little loose and rattly. When the dust cover is removed it would appear that thin walled sockets are needed to remove nut and cone in order to re-grease. Are these tools available or is there a trick way repacking the bearings or should I throw them away and buy some better pedals that are serviceable ? Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Regards James

Hey James,

Our bike Guru is in tomorrow, but does the tool in this top kit look like the one you need? http://www.wellgo.com.tw/product.asp?category=accessories&offset=10

Hi Melissa
No not really what I was after. I'm after the spanners to remove the axle from the pedal. I'm in no rush and can wait for the guru if that helps!

James

Hey James,

If I were you and had the tool I'd try and service them but the reality is those pedals are fairly inexpensive. Replacing them wouldn't be a bad idea. For a bit more money you can get a solid pair of pedals that you don't need to worry about servicing. Hope that helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.
