Volkl Wall Skis
$299.97 - 499.00

I'm an avid bumps skier and meant to buy the mogul version of this but didn't realize there was a difference. Duh - stoner move. Haven't taken em out yet in case I need to return them but wondering if any good bump skiers could comment on these? I don't need a competition ski but I do like to hit em hard & fast

They ski nothing alike. The much smaller waist of the mogul version is great. You loose about 2 cm on the waist. The entire ski is different. If you love the moguls go for it. But do not forget it will not be great anywhere else.

Thanks Matt. Which one will not be great? The mogul version or the straight Wall?

All I really need to know is will the straight Wall perform well in the bumps?

Cheers
Dave

Hey Dave,

The straight wall performs decent in the bumps. If you are just out there having fun and want to take the same pair of skis around the rest of the mountain during the day. You will be good with them in the bumps. If you plan on doing bumps all day and really want to push it, get the mogul. But then you will not have fun with it on the rest of the mountain.

The straight wall is a decent ski for the moguls, but is not a mogul ski.

Matt
