Is there any difference between the '08/'09 model and the '09/'10 model or just cosmetic changes? |

The 09/10 model adds "wide ride" which puts the binding interface over the edges for better feel and control. Most of the offerings from Marker and Volkl are heading that way because of the wider format skis.

Wide ride gives the skier more control over the edges on wider skis. The titanium layer was replaced with spring steel, and the double grip edge was composite and has been replaced with wood... it is a completely different ski.
The net result is that the new ski is more snappy, not as stiff, but has much better edge control (which was my biggest complaint with the ski) and more float. |
