I have a 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR. Components found here:
specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCProduct.jsp?arc=2009&spid=39189

The current crankset is: Custom Shimano FC-M762 , 2pc., S: 170mm, others: 175mm

Rear derailleur: SRAM X-0, 9-speed, mid cage

Front derailleur: Shimano M660 SLX, DMD, top swing, dual pull

Cassette: Shimano HG61, 9-speed, 11-34t

Chain: SRAM PC-971, 9-speed w/Power Link

I would like to purchase your Truvativ XX Crankset but am curious as to its compatibility with my other components. What other components do I need to replace? I assume I need to replace the chain, cassette for a 10-speed but not sure if anything else is required. I love my X-O rear derailleur but not sure if it is going to work well with the 2x10 set up. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan so my research capabilities are quite limited. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Look forward to doing business with you!

Hey John,

It looks like it will be a overhaul of parts. Cassette, chain, shifters, and rear derailleur are the parts you'll need to replace. Unfortunately the 9 speed rear D won't work with the 10 cog cassette since the spacing is narrower. You should be fine with the front D, shouldn't need to replace that. Sorry to be such a downer on your 10 speed parade. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Tom
