Hello Sir,

I am interested in your TRP RL970 Aero Brake Lever. I have the following questions.

1) Does it uses the MTB brake cable with cylindrical end OR does it uses the Shimano ball end brake cable ?

2) Internal or External cable routing ?

3) My bullhorn have a ID of 21mm & OD of 24mm. Is the black aluminum bracket big enough to cover the OD of my bar end ?

Appreciate your prompt reply. Thank you

Hello,

Are you trying to route these through bar ends on a mountain bike?

Hi Matt,

I am using bullhorns on my road bike which has the ball end brake cables.

From my understanding, most TT brake levers use the MTB barrel end brake cables. (eg. Tektro, Profile Design etc.)

Would appreciate if you can help me measure the thickness of the bracket so that I know it will cover my bar end.

Thank you, Matt.

Hello,

They have a fit for 19-20.6 mm. I imagine they may be a bit loose if your id is 21.

These are routed internally.

They also use road cable and not mountain bike cable nipples.
