Hello,

Do you think it would be possible to use a smaller snowboard binding with this boot. This would allow me to hike/snowshoe up backcountry trails and ride down, with only carrying one pair of boots.

Thank You

Tom

Hey Tom,

What size boot do you wear? Do you currently own these boots You might need to try and see if the binding would fit with this boot. I'd probably stick with normal snowboard boots. Back Country snowboarding and be some of the best conditions and also some of the worst regarding snow pack. Hiking boots aren't really designed to support a board and binding. I think comfort and also performance would be lowered with just a normal hiking boot. It's a great thought though, I'd give it a try. Maybe it would balance things out with the increased hiking performance. Hope this helps.

Tom
