i BOUGHT A k2 2005 clutch helmut and have older Smith goggles. The helmut comes down too low for me to comfortably wear the goggles. I borrowed a smith helmut last year and could wear it with any of my goggles. What the heck? The helmut fits me but the darn goggles don't work with the helmut.
Frustrating.

I'm guessing because of the older model helmet thats why you're running into fit issues. I guess its a bit late now but I always try and fit a new helmet with my current googles. Just so there aren't any surprises when you get to the slopes with your gear for the first time. Sorry for hassle. You could try a RED helmet those have great google to helmet compatibility.
