Q: Shimano Ultegra 10 Speed Cassette

i have a new giant carbon bike 10 speed ultegra , shimano 105. while i really like the bike ,i would like to lower the first gear ratio to make it easier to climb. i am not a young rider ,but i really enjoy my road time, can you reccomend a cassett that would help me out? thank you for your help

Both shimano and Sram are making 11/28 cassettes that will help you out. I'm assuming you have a 12/25? Beyond that, go with a compact crank or triple with a 34 or 30 tooth front chainring. Make sure to adjust your chain length accordingly.

If you've already done all that and are still looking for gearing, you may have to look to mountain bike components.
