 | G'day Melissa,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Sorry, I am still confused.
A set usually consists of a righthanded 9 speed sprocket shifter with a 2-3 speed lefthanded chainring shifter.
Is the shifter a lefthanded 9 speed sprocket shifter?
Kindest regards and best wishes for a happy life,
Paul

Hey Paul,
Sorry, I think I misread/made an assumption about your question. I see what you mean. I will ask one of the bike guys and have em get back to you. Sorry about that!
Take care,
Melissa

It is a right hand shifter for the rear derailleur. The way mountain bike shifters are set up [is that] right is the rear and left is the front. They don't offer an option for a lefty to operate the rear derailleur with the left hand.
Does that help?
