Scarpa Omega
$330.61 - 389.00

I would like to know how warm these boots are. I am going to climb Huascaran in Peru in a few months, where temperature may drop down to -25C. Will scarpa omega be warm for that?

Hey there,

I'd say these are some of the warmest plastic boots on the market. With that said its hard to exactly pinpoint whether or not these boots will be good for you climbing Huascaran in Peru during early spring. I feel temperature wise they should be good around -20ish. One thing that can help is Thermo-molded liners (Intuition is the best brand) and are worth the investment. They dry faster and are much lighter than the stock inners. These can be molded at your local quality outdoor store. They can also give you a great boot fit to make sure the size you get is the right size. The last thing you want is poorly fitted boots half way up Huascaran. Hope this helps and have a great time!
