Hi, I am looking for a specific kind of binding. One that binds on the side of the ski instead of on the top. Someone told me that Salomon S810 or S914 were the binding model numbers that used to fit the salomon prolink pilot system. These skis are a racing ski and were made about five years ago. The binding has gone out of stock and I can't seem to find them anywhere used or new.

Hey,

Your probably out of luck. It wasn't the binding but a binding plate that attached to the side of the ski and the binding was attached to that.

If you have the plates all Salomon bindings will fit on them, no plates, you better start looking at used stuff.

Matt,

I have the plate. It is gold and sits on top of what appear to be plastic lifts. The plates have bolts on the side and bolt into the larger plate that covers the center of the ski. I do not see any bindings that have the fastenings on the side, only on the top and bottom. Any suggestions of who or where might have these?

Thanks

Hey,

Well, you can pick up most any Salmon binding and it will connect to those plates.

Could you still get your hands on these? I broke a Salomon S9 14 binding yesterday.
