Hi, found a pair of Rossignol actys 300 on ebay, i'm looking for my husband who is an intermeidate skier, confident on red runs, and last season enjoying tackling the odd black run and mogels. Are these skis suitable. I have a pair of Rossignol B3 which he could use and i'd use the said above if that was suited; They are for sale for 79 , seems a good offer.....

so could you tell me more about the skis?????
Thankyou, Becks

I wouldn't take a pair of rossi actys 300's if you gave them to me. Its a very beginner level ski.

I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about, maybe he or she never skied Actys 300? I have had them for 3 years and they are an INTERMEDIATE ski, not a beginner ski. A great ski for someone getting back into the game after years out. I'm 6'5 and was almost 300 pounds when I got my 176 Actys 300 ski. I bought them on the recommendation of my local ski shop because they are a forgiving ski, good at slow to medium speeds and will help you work more on your form as you prepare to graduate to better skis. That said, these are not good mogul, powder or crud skis. Stick to groomers and you will be fine, anything else and you will probably end up on your dignity - fast. I like this ski for someone getting back into the game or the skier who goes 2 or 3 times a year but wants their own equipment. Good on groomers and some ice, good on green circle and blue square hills, technique will have to be sharp to work these on black and double black hills

I'll second that.
