I have a 15 yr. old regular mt. bike(Motiv) and live in the desert. would this be a good addition to smooth out the bumps on dirt & washboard roads? I want more exercise and would like to do it on a budget!
Thanks,Boyd

Well,

You have actually linked to only a replacement spring kit. Also can you raise and lower you handle bars by turning a screw?

Your Motiv is most likely a 1" steer which is almost impossible to find today in a suspension fork. Your best bet would be to replace the Motiv with another bike that fits your riding needs. Check around for used bikes or your Local Bike Shop, LBS, for a blow out on a 2+ year old model.

Merry Christmas
