I've got an original moss kingdome (now called the msr stormking). Purchase in about 2002 (?)
On a recent trip to Canada I got Pine pitch on several spots. Both on the fly and on the tent body. I was not able to clean it quicky (it was a 4 week excursion). So now these spots have dried. How should I clean them off?
Also I noticed degraded performance in the rain. The fly is suffering from seam tape that is Peeling off.
I love the tent and want to bring it back to best possible condition. Is there a service to perform the needed maintenance ? Or are there do-it-yourself instructions for re waterproofing?

I would suggest using Nikwax Tech Wash to clean or any other mild detergent:

And use this on the seams:
