How do you use these? Do you have instructions?

How can I tell if I have the correct MSR Cord Tensioner for 2.75 mm cord?

You want the size "medium" for 2.75.

Regarding how to use them: basically it acts as a mechanical prussic (or two half hitch). You pass the rope through one hole and then through the other. Then tie an overhand knot so it can't reverse.

Now grab the section between the two holes and pull until the cord is the desired length. The tensioner will not release when under pressure.

If you need a solution now, a two half hitch:

works almost as well.

Thanks,
Mark
