Hi, I have a miche 9 speed cassette and I have broken some of the teeth on it. It is probably a 2003 model or thereabouts. If I get this 2010 miche 9 speed model should they fit my freehub - ie are they backwards compatible? (I have campy componentry btw...)

Yes, you can switch it out. If it is worn down you probably should change your front rings as well and a new chain. This will get your system running like new.
