I love the Bison competition chalk. It's just chalk. no additives. I like it because it's ground 100%. No chunks. I paid $10 for a one pound jar. I think that makes it cheaper than most.

 | I'm not sure exactly what you mean. The most popular climbing chalk is Metolius. bison, Black Diamond and endo.
Is "french tree chalk" used on trees or is it chalk with an additive?
Joshua Tree products adds a bit extra in their fire and ice chalk lines.
