Hi there,

Are you referring to the Airflow flex bar? That is such a unique and integral part of what makes this particular pack comfy; it may not fit right even if it can be removed. Is there a reason you would like to remove it? If you are looking to drop weight on the pack, there are definitely lighter options.

I like this one at 3 lbs.
I used a similar pack for my entire Pacific Crest Trail hike.

I am looking into the answer for you.

I'm still waiting, sorry. So, is it the flex bar that you are looking to remove? May I ask why?

Okay, I am told that it is not removable. Sorry.
