Oils dont have a specific weight number system and in many cases the manufacture wont tell, pretty lame.
Working on a rule of thumb the type 2 is 2wt and type 5 is 5wt suspension fluid. Generally I start with 2wt in the front but very rarely end in a 10wt. Rear shocks can be setup with as little as 0wt (synthetic) to 15wt fluid. I have personally found synthetics to be smoother, more consistent and longer lasting fluids.
