Lowa Silberhorn GTX
$439.95 - 439.97

Hello,
I got a couple questions here about the lowa silberhorn,,,I am wondering how they are on approaches or hikes and also 6000-6300meter peaks in south america???are they warm enough for summit climbs like for alpamayo, or pisco,,,,ie can they be used as a substitute for plastic boots???

Thanks
Zach

Hello,

Any time you will be spending a night on the mountain, I would not suggest these boots. Simply because they are not double boots, so the liner does not pull out and you cannot stuff it in your sleeping bag with you over night to dry.

I find this boot to be best suited for high alpine ice and rock.
