I do a lot of climbing/hiking in the north east part of the US. Most of the "intense" stuff is in the White Mountains of NH. When I do get out, I generally rent plastics in the winter months from EMS. However, I'd like to own something now. These boots, though not plastic, seem comparable in terms of warmth but possibly better since they're more technical or mobile. Is that an accurate assessment?

Also, how would these compare to the Nepal Evos in terms of warmth?

These will keep your feet more than toasty. They perform very similar to the plastic double boots, but you will have more comfort and feel in these. Compared to the Nepals these are warmer, but less technical. Nepals would be better for more technical climbing.

You should be good with these boots.

Matt
