Wondering if I should get the 177cm or the 184cm? I am 51 years old, 195 lbs, was a very good skier but haven't really skied that much in the last 10 years. Just moved back to the West coast and will be skiing primarily in Tahoe. Like to go pretty fast still down the groomed runs, but also want to do some floating in the powder when it happens. I am not as athletic as when I was 25, but still in good shape. So would there really be a big difference in the 177s or the 184s?

It sounds like the 177 would be a ideal for you. The skis have a decent width that will help you float through the pow. But if you are primarily on groomers the 177 will be easier to control and more fun.
