Dear Guru...

I've got these platform V2.2 bindings and they're very fine! just two minor things bother me, I hope you can solve them. First, the toe strap comes on top of my toes after riding few minutes, how can I avoid? then secondly, if I'm fastening the upper strap, the plastic is getting struck somewhere inside the cover, and because of that I can't close further and tighten.. it takes me 10 to 20 attempts before succeeding...

please inform :) thanks!

It's real hard to say without having the binding in front of me but I would see if you can replicate the issue with the upper strap when you're at home with your empty boot. You might have to shave off some plastic inside if you can determine what it is snagging on.

As for the toe strap, I don't believe these bindings have a toe strap that goes in front of your toes and holds your boots back into the heelcup. I believe this strap is meant to go over your toes and hold them down. Let me know if I'm missing what you're saying here but I think the strap may be functioning as intended.

Thanks,

Justin

Hi Justin..

the toe strap isn't flat, it's curved for your toes to fit in... not as much as most Burton models but still (you will see if you check a front picture online) I'm trying to solve it by putting it more to the front, but I didn't ride since then.

then the thing getting struck inside i've been able to solve with some glue etc.. but It's of course a pitty to start glueing on your brand new bindings ;)

ciao, thanks!

I would check centering of your boot in the binding to see if it effects the angle of your toe strap. If the strap is only contacting firmly on part of the boot, it will be more likely to move. An extra couple of clicks might solve that as well.

You may have to do some guess and check on the upper strap to see where it's binding. There might be a burr or some wear marks on the plastic strap that you can clean up to solve it.
