Not sure if I should get the 50mm or 65mm.
I have a 1999 SC Heckler, standard Titec stem that came with the bike. It is pretty long, feels unstable when jumping so that why I want to try a shorter stem. I am 6'2", 225lbs.
Mostly downhill, but lots of climbing too.

I'm always a fan of comfort. Especially when you're downhilling. You'll have more control with the smaller stem, as well as being in a upright position that should help your climbing.
