Will you be doing any back country skiing or hiking because these boots are designed to be walked in and if you are an alpine skier there may be better options.

Let me know,

Matt

Matt,

Thanks for the reply.
I doubt I'll get into backcountry, not much where I live.
But tired of Lange, Nordica, big stiff, bulky, and HEAVY.
Even though I can and do sometimes ski fast and hard, I'm looking for lighter and softer. These back country books just look way cooler and friendlier and lean

Well,

I would suggest you may not need an AT boot, but if you do want those qualities check out the Scarpa Hurricane. The Diablo will not function correctly in alpine bindings. The Scarpa Hurricane comes with two sole options so you can use them with Alpine Bindings.

Scarpa Hurricane Boot
$389.95 - 738.95

These are very light-weight and more focused on alpine skiing.
