I've heard the bladder in the camelbak's taste like plastic, or just foul after 30 min. Is this true for all of them? Is there one that doesn't?

If you are sensitive to flavors in your water, you will notice the plastic in all the Camelbak products. Have you ever had a water bottle or cup made of soft plastic and you can taste it? If not, you may be okay. If so, you should look at the Osprey packs such as:
Or, use a Platy Hoser in another pack.
