Hi there,
The Tribute is Burton's entry level, but they make great stuff all the way up the line. Were you able to flex the boot a lot? How long have you been riding? What do you mean by screaming/what part of your feet hurt? Do you have wide/narrow feet, small heels, high/low arches?
Snowboard boot pain can be many things. The most common is when someone gets a boot that is too big in volume and they end up cranking on the straps so hard that the ball of nerves on the top of the foot is getting pressure and then pain.
Secondly, if the boot is too long (your toe should just barely touch the end of the liner when you are standing up straight and when you crouch forward you should not feel it) and you are sliding in there, your foot muscles will get fatigued. The remedy for that one is a good insole like:
They can also usually remedy the first problem too. A lot of us put them in all my athletic shoes/boots.
Lemme know what was going on and I can give you a better answer.
