Hey, I haven't had this binding in hand--sorry. If you figured out how to adjust the cant of the highback, that has always been the lockdown mechanism for the highback too. There is a buckle that you flip down (or sometimes up). I am sure you tried that already, but it's gotta be there. Good luck.
