Bluewater Eliminator
$149.98 - 249.99

I am looking for a good, durable, cheap, starter rope. What is the best on the market today?

you have a good option here. For a starter rope, i would get something in the 10-10.5mm range. The eliminator is a good affordable option. My preference is the Beal Edlinger. This is probably my favorite rope, as it has a low impact force and i have found it to be very durable.

I'll agree with the comment below, 10.2 and 10.5 are the most popular sizes for a workhorse rope. "Best on the market" and "Cheap" don't usually apply to the same piece of gear.

There's a pretty smokin' deal on alpenglow right now:

Sterling Sport 10.4mm
$199.97 - 247.95

Merry Christmas.
