Hi,
I am looking for a new ski and have demoed the 2011 K2 Burnin Luv, but it was very heavy (especially on my knees while riding the chair lift.) Also tried the 2006 K2 Lotta Luv and am very interested in the newest Lotta Luvs but am concerned about their weight as well. I am 62, 5 1/2, weight varies between 145/150. I am an expert skier (have been skiing 35 yrs) and love the steep bumps, but do ski off piste and groomers also. I can and do ski fast, but prefer skiing like water flowing down a hill prettily. I loved my 6 yr old Rossi Zenith Z1s but I just broke them, ah macho me, lol. They were softer and shorter (146 and to my chin) than my ability but were purchased that way intentionally since I love the moguls and am no spring chicken..thinking my knees may by now be even older. Want to keep skiing the bumps while my knees are still able, so wondering what you would suggest. Someone else recommended the Atomic Seventh Heaven 79's???
Love that you do this!! Thanks from Tahoe!

 | Hey there,
First off I hope I'm skiing as long as you have. Thats amazing!! Let me give you the run down on the Atomic Seventh Heaven. Many testers agreed that this ski is great for east coast or firmer conditions. Its biggest attributes are its stability at speed and its quickness. Great for bumps and hard pack groomers but also has the width and float to venture off-piste. Another big plus is the lightweight chassis underfoot. The con for this ski is its lack of performance in crud which I don't think you'll have a problem with that in Tahoe. Hope this helps.
