I am looking to purchase a ski for utah that is great in the powder, but will still handle the rest of the mountain with ease.. I am between the Atomic Bent Chetler and the Salomon Sentinel. What are your thoughts?

Hi Dave,
My thoughts are: nice choices. I haven't skied in Utah (waaa), so I don't know, is 123mm waist necessary? What are you skiing on now and do they float? My other question is: do you ski backwards much?
