one user claims these are narrower than sportivas - duane raleigh claims they are hi-volume.
would you recommend for my low-volume, narrow heel & ankle?

Asolo makes a less rounded toe box than some manufacturers that feels smaller to certain foot shapes. (if your big toe is the longest, you'll have lots of room. If you second toe is longer, it'll feel a little snugger.) Overall, reviews on this boot lean towards roomy.
These have a tighter fitting heel and an adjustable toungue that could help take up some room. Beyond that, you can try swaping out footbeds or shimming underneath the footbed like they do in ski boots.
Depending on your size, you might look at a women's last to get the lower volume fit you need.
