Arc'teryx R320 Harness
$99.85 - 135.00

Hi!

I need advice about R-320 and S-240 Arcteryx. I need harness for sport climbing but sometimes on long routs (but not trad). I don't know which harness will be better for me? Mostly I use to climb on short sport routs. Is s-240 better solution than r-230?

Thank's in advance

Both are great harnesses and probably far lighter than what you're replacing.

For sport, you're probably more than covered with the two gear loops on the 240. I've done some alpine routes on two gear loops and (although it was a tight squeeze) there was enough space for draws and gear.

If you plan to do some occasional trad, get the 320. The extra weight is neglegable and will come in handy for gear intensive routes.

i dont understand why anyone would climb on a 2 loop harness when there are 4 loops available. Even when im sport climbing, i always have a belay device or stuff to clean hanging off the back of my harness. i only use the front loops for draws and such. then when im out tradding or on a longer route i have plenty of space.
