 | Right when you thought it was enough danger that our cams were falling apart; our water bottles started attacking. This will be interesting... (for those who don't know, MEC is the size of REI in Canada).
"Mountain Equipment Co-op, the country's (Canada) largest specialty outdoor-goods retailer, says it has pulled most food and beverage containers made of polycarbonate plastic from its shelves, citing concern over possible health risks.
The Vancouver-based firm been one of the largest sellers of such products as polycarbonate Nalgene water bottles, and probably has done more than any retailer to make the distinctive, brightly coloured containers an iconic product everywhere from backcountry campsites to urban offices and university campuses."

 | Why is there no gear from MEC on the site? They make some great stuff.
Also you should include prices from www.sierratradingpost.com
Thanks

Thanks for the tip rjones7. To date we have not indexed international retailers (international being defined by outside of the US) due to most of our traffic coming from the US. With the current exchange rate, shipping and tax it is unlikely "hot deals" are going to be found at MEC for US residents. If I am wrong here and we should be indexing MEC please let me know.
Though recently Canadian traffic has greatly increased. My understanding is that a large percentage of Canadians are using the current exchange rate to their advantage.
