Still unbroken. No attempts have been made since Howitt's historical official speed records.
Timers include Oregon Peak Adventures www.oregonpeakadventures.com for 100 year historical Mount Hood record, from low point Government Camp 3700' elevation in downtown Govt Camp, to Summit 11240' elevation
2 hours 58 minutes to the top
Previous record claim was in 1936 by Gary Leech, time-unverified and unofficial, 2 hours 36 minutes from downtown Govt Camp to Summit.
