 | I really appreciate and enjoy reading the Gear Talk articles. Usually the articles cover something everyone is familiar with and/or have good written descriptions, but sometimes more pictures or diagrams would help the article a lot.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
In Face Those Gates, I knew what they were talking about, so it made sense to me, but I can imagine a beginner lead climber being totally lost. A couple pics of what to do and what not to do would help a ton.
In the new one, Slinging and Racking Pickets, it's hard for me to picture the methods he's talking about (I'm not that familiar with snow climbing, but it's something I'm interested in doing more). Again, a pic of each racking method would be great.
Thanks.

 | Hey Cody
Thank you so much for your comments. We really appreciate feedback, so the more the better.
We generally try to get appropriate, high-quality photos to match the article, and (obviously) it's best when one of our writers agrees to submit a photo with their article. However, in a freelance world, that's not always possible (as writers aren't always photographers and vice-versa).
Thanks for bringing this to our attention; we will definitely work on getting more photos in with the articles.
Sincerely,
Leah Miller
