 | I'm considering which boot would best suit me. I am looking between the La Sportiva Eco 4.0 and the La Sportiva Thunder II GTX. I'm not sure too much about the differences other than the Eco is made from recyclable materials and the Thunder has a stiffer shank. Also the Eco is more breathable.
I want to use the boot for day hiking/ single day peak bagging. For use in the 3 seasons (spring, summer, fall). I live in Arizona and hike here (quite hot) but will be hiking in Colorado this summer and surrounding states a good amount as well. First time in Arizona...and i'm not sure if I'll even hike too much in the summer because of the brutal heat. I will also be on established trails.
Ankle support, comfort, and durability are very key for me. My last pair of boots lasted almost 6 yrs but it is time to get a new pair. Also my pack will have less than 30lbs. I wear the Nepals and have become a big fan of La Sportiva. I have tried Asolo's and other brands and the fit just wasn't good for me.
Any suggestions??? Thank you
