Pants SummaryOn this site, pants are broken into a couple different categories:
Bibs- Waterproof bibs, great for skiing, ice climbing etc.
Casual Pants- If you'd wear it to a mall, then it's probably here
Travel Pants- Convertible pants, and other quick drying pants
Fleece Pants- Great insulation layer pants
Rain Pants- Good to have if you don't want to get wet
Ski Pants-
Ski and mountaineering pants
Snowboarding Pants- Pants built to board
Softshell Pants- More breathable, a little less waterproof, but great active shell pants
Technical Pants- If it's not anywhere else, it'll be in here
Key features to look out for are seam taping/welding (for waterproof pants), a gusseted crotch, articulated knees, and vents.
