Blog: Climber Chloe Graftiaux Dies in Alps Accident
Very sad news for the climbing community surfaced from this previous weekend. Competitive climber Chloe Graftiaux died in a rock fall while descending the South Face of Aiguille Noire de Peuterey in the Mont Blanc massif. The 23-year-old Belgian climber had placed third overall in the 2010 Bouldering World Cup, and was in the process of becoming a professional mountain guide.
